Mungru

Nocturnal Scavengers of the Caves

Homeland: Mountains

Language: Edhu

Reclusive cave-dwellers, Mungru are bats the size of human children, often considered frightening to behold. While they can fly, they are rarely seen in the skies, for they only emerge at night when all is dark. Sometimes, Mungru can be observed roosting upside-down beneath rocky overhangs, earning them the nickname "cliffhangers." These giant bats communicate in their own unintelligible language of screeches and sonar, and as they display little interest in interacting with others, their culture remains a mystery to outsiders.
