Kelvimars resemble armed seahorses with red, orange, or yellow skin. Inhabitants of an underwater kingdom, they dress in seashells and seaweed skirts, with their soldiers wearing coral armor and the wealthy clad in gold and pearls. Deepmagical sorcerers are highly prized in Kelvimarian society, and they number among the richest citizens in the kingdom, paid exorbitant fees for their magical services. Being largely sedentary, Kelvimars lavish their energy on works of grand architecture, constructing splendid cities from sea stone, coral, and pearls. The opulence of their settlements occasionally tempts sea serpents and Tentakull raiders, but the Kelvimars' thick walls and harpoon defenses repel most assaults. Safe in their cities, the Kelvimars pride themselves in their proud heritage and splendor, disdaining other races as barbarians.
