Lightvian

Magical Warriors of the Dawn

Homeland: Lightlands

Language: Common

Illustrious people of magic and might, the Lightvian are acclaimed throughout the Twelve Realms as noble warriors against evil—though their impeccable reputation took a severe blow when Octavious Silrae, one of their own, fell to syvatrihood. Human in form, Lightvian are in reality a completely separate race distinguishable by their brilliant eye color, striking beauty, lack of visible aging, and, most importantly, innate magical abilities. Lightvian magic, which is more complex than any other magic within the Twelve Realms, takes various elemental forms and differs between individuals. Every Lightvian, warrior or not, possesses their own weapon of white metal that bonds to them from a young age and allows them to work magic outside of the Lightlands. As a society, Lightvian wear pale yellow-white robes and dwell in majestic cities of white stone, ruled by five joint leaders. Lawbreaking in Lightvian communities is rarer than anywhere else in the Twelve Realms, for Lightvian share a strict devotion to their righteous god, Seviar—in whose name they seek justice for the Twelve Realms.
